12/5/06 WDS acquires OLYMPUS HIGH DEFINITION ENDOSCOPY SYSTEM. The first facility in the Illawarra to introduce this state of the art system. - shows up small cancers and polyps that are not visible to the older generation equipment.

Wollongong Day Surgery has been reviewed and given the BENCKMARK ISO 9001
seal of approval. Three years accreditation was granted. This long period of accreditation reflects the very high standards of the organisation. The next organisational
wide survey will be held in May 2009.By achieving and maintaining BENCKMARK ISO 9001
accreditation, patients, visitors and staff may rest assured that the
